Body Psychotherapy, also known as Somatic Psychotherapy, recognises that life experiences are carried not only in the mind but also in the body. Through this approach, clients are supported to explore these patterns and create space for change that feels real, grounded, and lasting.

In a session, talking is often part of the process, but it is not the only way to work. Sessions may include gentle attention to body sensations, breath, or movement, as well as creative elements such as visualisation, art materials, or the use of cushions and objects to represent relationships or experiences. With consent, biodynamic massage, a gentle form of bodywork, can also be offered to support exploration.

Body Psychotherapy invites the whole person into the process body, mind, feelings, and the energy that moves between them. Each session is unique, meeting the client where they are and allowing the process to unfold at their pace. The aim is always to provide a safe, respectful space for exploration, self-discovery, and reconnection.
